This podcast was created to share our love of the holidays, year round, with you.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet, For auld lang syne, And surely you will buy your cup, And surely I'll buy mine, And we'll take a cup o'kindness yet, For auld lang syne...
As the HolidayMoons say goodbye to 2019 and the decade of the 2010s, we sing (and describe) the most famous New Year's song, Auld Lang Syne. And since this song is Scottish in origin, thanks to its author, Robert Burns, we look at Hogmanay, which is Scotland's multi-day New Year's celebration, with many fascinating traditions and festivities. And, we are still within the 12 days of Christmas, which are the 12 days between Christmas and Epiphany on January 6th, we talk about the celebration of Orthodox Christmas around the world. And, finally, we wish you a happy and healthy 2020 to you and your families!

HolidayMoons was created because we love and celebrate holidays and seasons throughout the year, and we want to share our love with you. It includes decorating, going to festivals and events, watching related TV shows and movies, listening to seasonal music, cooking and eating, seasonal shopping, and best of all, enjoying how others, like you, have celebrated too.
