Let's Go Fly a Kite with the HolidayMoons!
This episode was delayed so that we could get our Disney trip episode out quickly, so some of the references may be a bit delayed or out of date based on the latest COVID-19 issues.
In this week's episode, we talk kite flying, thunderstorms, and the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. Spring can be a great time to fly a kite, and we talk about the latest kite flying capabilities, a brief history of kites, and how to get started as a novice or if your kids want to participate. And kite flying can be a great socially isolated event if you can find a big field. Another springtime staple is thunderstorms. Beth gives us the who, what, where, when, and why of thunderstorms, and in a fun, fact-filled segment on these booming weather phenomenon. And, although this year's event was basically canceled, Sydney shares more about the Cherry Blossom Festival in D.C. as a future event for you to consider visiting in the Spring. Several fun Spring segments to share with you, your friends, and your family!

HolidayMoons was created because we love and celebrate holidays and seasons throughout the year, and we want to share our love with you. It includes decorating, going to festivals and events, watching related TV shows and movies, listening to seasonal music, cooking and eating, seasonal shopping, and best of all, enjoying how others, like you, have celebrated too.
